The attractive force which holds various constituents together in different chemical species is called a chemical bond.There are various mode of chemical combination.
- By the complete transfer of one or more electrons e.g ionic bond.
- when the share electrons are contributed by the two combining atoms equally. e.g covalent bond.
- when these electrons are contributed entirely by one one of the atoms but shared by both. e.g Co- ordinate covalent bond.
