The isomer which possesses the same molecular formula, the same structural formula, and differs in the arrangement of group or atoms in some but doesn’t exhibit optical activity called geometrical isomers and the phenomenon is called geometrical isomerism.
It can be divided into two groups i.e Cysis and transforms.
